Before changing the OS, I wanted to have everything backed up and subscribed to 365 and OneDrive.
Meanwhile, since some of the trouble suggested malware to me, I ran the Microsoft Safety Scan, the full version, which took over five hours and found nothing.
They were quite good, but told me that there was a problem with OS and I should upgrade to Windows 10. I spent hours and hours text-chatting with Microsoft help people. When I tried to do that, I discovered that something was cancelling all my passwords as I attempted to use them. When I loaded the repaired Office, I got a message that it was not activated and I would have to sign into my Microsoft Account. This all began when I ran the Repair program on Office Profissional 2013. It seems that there are now two compartments in OneDrive, the old one, to which Windows Explorer has access and which is not useful, and the new one, which has the needed files but is not recognized by Windows Explorer and probably not synched. OneDrive does contain My Docs & My Pictures complete, but only because I uploaded them manually. There is a OneDrive link in Windows Explorer, but it connects only to OneDrive as I had it before subscribing to 365, which a few old files. I had to move MY Docs to OneDrive manually.
